01
Client-Side Calculation Privacy & In-Memory Execution
CalcTrading is designed to respect trader confidentiality. Unlike services that require you to transmit private trade amounts or account balances to a remote server, our tools perform calculations client-side in your web browser:
code
Local Mathematical Runtime
All sizing calculators, Kelly Criterion formulas, options Greeks, and regulatory fee modules execute directly in your browser's local JavaScript engine as you interact with inputs.
security
Zero Trade Data Storage
When you calculate trade risk, breakeven thresholds, or margin requirements, your financial numbers are not sent to or stored on our servers.
02
Browser LocalStorage & Saved Preferences
To enhance usability, our calculators allow you to save draft trade plans, retain recent entries, and remember interface preferences (such as default currency: USD vs. INR) across browser sessions.

Scope of Browser `window.localStorage`
- Preferences are written solely to sandboxed browser storage keys on your local device.
- No cloud account synchronization or remote profile backups are created from this data.
- You can permanently remove these stored preferences at any time by clearing your browser cache and cookies.
03
Google Analytics & Usage Telemetry
We integrate Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors engage with CalcTrading and identify which calculation tools are most useful:
Metrics Tracked
Pageviews, bounce rate & duration
IP Treatment
Anonymized IP addresses
Primary Purpose
Speed & feature optimization
Google Analytics collects high-level device telemetry (operating system, browser type, approximate country/city, and referral source). Google Analytics is strictly prohibited from accessing your numerical trade parameters, equity sizes, or formulas. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

CalcTrading Chrome Extension Architecture & Data Rights
We offer an official CalcTrading Chrome Extension providing quick popup calculations and shortcut calculators directly inside your browser:
Extension Permission Principles
The CalcTrading Chrome Extension operates strictly on an in-memory client utility basis. It requests only the minimal browser permissions necessary to render calculation popups. The extension does not record keystrokes, track unrelated web browsing activity, capture credentials, or transmit data to remote endpoints. All cached inputs remain securely stored in your local Chrome extension storage.
06
Outbound Broker Links & Referral Transparency
Our calculation pages feature comparison tables and direct referral links to regulated financial brokers (such as Zerodha, Dhan, Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab, Binance, and Bybit):
Zero Parameter Injection
When you click an outbound link to a partner broker, CalcTrading does NOT pass along your calculated trade amounts, capital balance, stop-loss levels, or risk tolerance in the URL. Outbound links contain strictly partner referral codes for attribution. Once you leave CalcTrading for a broker's website, your session is governed exclusively by that broker's independent privacy and terms policies.
07
Global Statutory Rights: GDPR, CCPA/CPRA & India DPDP Act 2023
Depending on your region, you maintain specific rights regarding data privacy and transparency under international frameworks:
Right to Erasure & Portability: Because we do not store registered account profiles or trade databases, your personal calculation data can be instantly erased by clearing your browser's local cache.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We never sell your personal financial information. All traders enjoy full access to our complete calculation suites without restriction.
Algorithmic Transparency: All mathematical formulas utilized across our calculators (such as Black-Scholes Greeks, Kelly Criterion distributions, and regulatory STT/GST schedules) are documented openly on our site.

Policy Revisions & Privacy Contact Desk
CalcTrading may periodically update this policy to reflect new tool features, revised ad network guidelines, or evolving legal requirements. We encourage users to check this page periodically for updates.
